Sheri Dacon

Sheri Dacon is a licensed Kindermusik educator with over 18 yeras of music teaching experience. before teaching Kindermusik, Sheri was an elementary music teacher for 9 years, most recently with Garland I.S.D. She has served at her church for many years as children's choir director, and as a vocalist and pianist. She is active as a piano accompanist for lacal student choral groups and soloists. Sheri earned her Bachelor of Music degree from Hardin-Simmons University with a double major in vocal performance and music education. She is also a trained Orff-Schulwerk specialist and has led early childhood music workshops for schools and church groups.

Sheri is married and is a mother of four young children, all of whom have been Kindermusik students. She believes that music is a gift for every child, and her desire as a Kindermusik educator is to inspire families to create homes where music is made and enjoyed.

Kara Olson

Kara Olson is a licensed Kindermusik educator with an ensusiasm for enriching children's lives with music and through the use of sign-language. Kara has been involved with music since she was very young. She began playing the piano at age 6 under the instruction of Lois Nielson, who instilled in Kara the importance of music theory and commitment to an instrument. She was a member of her school choirs in Richardson ISD under Shelba Jones and award winning, Glenda Casey.

Kara has been married for over 10 years to Andy (an Aggie) and is the mother of Averi Grace, who is currently enrolled with Kindermusik. After becoming a mother, Kara searched for a program to help guide her in teaching her daughter the precious lessons of music. She recognizes the value of music education and is able to see first-hand all the effective lessons Kindermusik provides. While facilitating her daughter's music education she learned that teaching sign-language simultaneously is extrem beneficial. She now incorportates this into each of her class with joy and anticipation for her students to learn a new form of communication.
